Vitae is a local-first app. All health information you enter is stored exclusively on your device. Vitae has no user accounts, and the developer cannot see, access, or recover your data.

What data does Vitae collect?​

None. Vitae does not collect, transmit, or process any personal data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Where is my data stored?​

All data is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or create a backup.

Backups​

Backups are optional and always under your control. If you enable cloud backup, your backup file is stored in your personal iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) account. The developer has no access to your backups, and you can delete them at any time from your own cloud storage.

Tips​

Vitae offers optional, voluntary tips as in-app purchases. Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. The developer receives no personal or payment data.

Vitae extra options activation​

If you activate Vitae+ with an access key, only that key is sent to our server to verify it. No health data or personal information is ever transmitted.

Website​

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log visitors' IP addresses for security and operational purposes — see GitHub's privacy statement. The Vitae website itself sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
